Soccer Expert Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Murs in Premier League Forecasts

Arsenal's 10-game winning run was ended by the Black Cats prior to the global hiatus, but can the Premier League leaders bounce back against local foes Spurs this Sunday?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated football expert Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."

The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, fans and a variety of guests.

For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.

Murs' new record, the new release, is available on the weekend.

Soccer and Family Experiences

Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple charity football matches over time - but he is not planning a serious return as a player.

"{I actually played in a charity match the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!

"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.

"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."

The singer and his wife his partner have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.

"I will not force football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their weekend soccer side," he said.

"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.

"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

Top Division Predictions

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

I still think this fixture will be quite close, though. The Clarets are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.

It suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The expert's prediction: 1-2

The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

AI's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.

In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.

West Ham's sole on the road victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was previously Forest manager.

Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - can the Hammers continuing their run under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?

I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.

The pundit's forecast: 2-0

Olly's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under Nuno. 2-2

AI's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have impressed a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their last four matches.

My son advised me to get Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.

Thiago will likely score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or back Brentford at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had great success on the road this term, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the break but I feel the home manager's team carry much more of a threat.

Sutton's forecast: 2-1

The singer's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many scores but it actually proves to be quite tight. 1-1

AI's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six matches.

Fulham have got plenty of quality in their squad but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.

As for the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far.

Their performance in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We've not seen any other team rough up the North London side like that this term, and they were fully competitive for them.

The logical choice would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the end of October.

But I am not do that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of credit for their good results because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.

Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage record, the only team they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's team will be extremely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.

Sutton's forecast: 1-0

Olly's prediction: I'm aware the visitors are performing strongly and also that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have still been decent at home this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but could they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
